Pada umumnya, lirik lagu biasanya akan ada beberapa bait yang akan diulang-ulang (atau disebut juga reffrain ), dengan maksud ada suatu penekanan di bait lagu yang diulang itu, tetapi, lagu ini berbeda. Lagu ini tidak mengharapkan pendengarnya untuk mementingkan hanya pada beberapa baitnya saja dan memang tidak ada unsur pengulangan lirik tertentu. Si penggubah lagu ingin mencoba mengajak pendengar lagu untuk mendengar pesan lagu ini sampai habis. Di mulai dari tentang “cinta”, lalu tentang perasaan “putus asa” ,”egois” & “kekalahan”, dan berakhir dengan isi pesan tentang “harapan”& “kemenangan”, penggubah lagu mencoba mengingatkan pendengar untuk selalu percaya ada harapan dibalik masa yang sukar.
